This week marks the launch of an exciting product which aims to bring fresh ideas for sellable decor to the UK’s balloon industry. Rouse Matrix UK was launched over the weekend at the party show in Birmingham and is fast becoming one of the most talked about products of the show!

The Rouse matrix system designs originate in the USA and are tried and tested products with a portfolio of exciting techniques which have been designed and created by Graham and Mary Queen Rouse.

So what is Rouse Matrix ????

Rouse Matrix Systems is a light weight specialty product developed as a system to hold balloons together.

Rather than building a solid frame for the balloons, Rouse Matrix Systems™ “grow” The Matrix out of simple sheets of material. When stretched out the rouse expands from compact units to an open diamond pattern, allowing balloons to be inserted to create amazing designs.

Rouse comes in lots of exciting shapes including hearts, stars, and rounds as well as banner pieces which can either be joined together to create backdrops etc or can  be cut to your choice of specific shapes.

Other designs include arches, Canopies, tunnels and the extremely elegant puffed heart.
With such a variety of designs, the rouse system is able to offer light weight frames to accommodate many sizes of balloons such as 5”, 9”, 11”, 16”, 3ft, latex, 160, 260, 350, 646 modeling balloons and 9” and 18” foils.

So there are designs to suit both decorators and twisters.

Rouse Matrix UK are dedicated to not only supplying this product to the UK but more importantly to provide a full training program that allows for both demo days and full hands on training.

Training Days
The first hands on Rouse day is on 2^nd May 2007 at GO International and will include a full day dedicated to learning the techniques needed to create a variety of Rouse Matrix deigns including the popular puffed heart, it also includes lunch and set of class notes with hints and tips for your future projects.

The first demo day is on 18^th May 2007 at UP UP and Away in Basildon – Rouse Matrix UK will be demonstrating their popular designs, displaying some of their work and will be on hand to answer questions.

The new website is now live and includes an online gallery of creations, information pages, training guide and online shop and with more products and features being added its worth checking out.
