Report by Dee White:
Now back on UK soil its time to tell the world just what did happen at Twist & Shout 2007. Nashville Tennessee experienced what nearly 300 twisters can do, and what they did was create an amazing event! Before we go on a huge thank you must be given to Royal and Patty Sorell for their endless work in putting together what we have learned to love to call Twist & Shout!

Wednesday
People started arriving and in the evening go out to BB Kings for dinner with wonderful transport provided by the Party Bus. After a delicious dinner it was back on the Party Bus and back to the hotel for the infamous ‘Pajama Party’ where yes you guessed it people dressed up in their pajamas and so the twisting begins.
Thursday
Classes started at 10pm as well as the official opening of the jamming room. 9 classes took place from 10am until 7pm when the official welcome to Twist & Shout 2007 took place. Royal & Patty gave a run through of the program for T&S 2007 as well as welcoming on stage this years instructors and finally reveling the whereabouts of Twist & Shout 2008 which is:

The stage competition took place at 8pm with truly amazing acts which enthralled everyone, followed by two late night classes and of course the infamous jamming room for all those diehards. At this stage a special mention should be made to all those companies who where present in both dealers rooms giving everyone the opportunity to purchase their wonderful products and some wonderful products there were!

Sunday
Sunday wow the last day feels like we have all been here forever but at the same time no-one wants to go! Worship started the day at 9am followed by Breakfast for everyone. Then a heap of private classes which anyone can run, these were posted in the reception area a day or two before hand to allow people to sign up. The mass clean up followed but still some people were twisting and other saying their goodbyes until next year!
So to sum up the event is very simple - if you were there this year you understand what everyone else missed out on. If you didn't go this year . . . . well as I said you missed out!
But don't worry help is at hand, you can now open your diary and book out the following dates February 20 - 24 2008 because you will be going to Burlington Marriott Hotel, Burlington Massachusetts for Twist & Shout 2008!
Take care and see you at Twist & Shout 2008
